Plan B Power Systems

We'd like to say that we're a hip start-up company backed by a ton of venture capital, located in San Fransico loft offices right above an independent, artsy coffee shop that sells the best espresso in the area...  but we're not.

 We're three engineers operating out of a garage.  We're not hip.  We're kind of nerdy (okay, one of us is kind of nerdy, the other two can speak for themselves).  But we like to explore, create, and invent.

We have a vision, and we're committed to seeing it through.   

Our Business

We're convinced that our society is so dependant on energy that eliminating it from our lives is no longer feasible.  Furthermore, relying on the public infrastructure to provide a low-cost, uninterrupted supply for us with no backup plan is not a prudent option.

Our mission is:

To help our customers intelligently reduce their dependence on traditional municipal infrastructure (power, water, fuel) with the key goals of reducing their energy footprint and maintaining quality of life in situations where centralized power is not available. 

Who We Are

We're a small group of people with a mission.  We're trying our hardest to make a difference in an environmentally and socially responsible way.

In addition to solving the energy problems of the world, we also want to cure cancer (no we're not kidding).  But, since we're not doctors, or biochemists, instead of doing it ourselves, we will donate at least 25% of our net revenue to federally-recognized cancer charities.  Right now, our net revenue is zero, so that's not a huge contribution.  But our goal is again supply oriented -- instead of merely giving money to a charity, we figured it might be a better idea to build a business engine to perpetually help fund a charity.  Will it work?  Help us grow and we can make it a reality together!
