Plan B Power Systems

Energy has a truly profound impact on our lives.  There's currently much discussion about what individuals can do to reduce demand (how we can use less of it and be more efficient with what we have).  

However, there's not quite as much focus on how individuals can affect the other side of the energy equation:  the supply side.

With sharply rising fuel costs, increasing instability in the supply of power, perpetually increasing carbon emissions despite corporate claims of "green" generation, and technology making truly innovative solutions accessible to the individual citizen, it's clear that it's time to develop a "Plan B".

What if individuals could make and manage their own power, at relatively low cost, in environmentally responsible ways to supplement (if not replace) what they consume from the public infrastructure?  It's possible. 

This approach will help to put control back in the hands of people instead of large corporations. It's a incremental, realistic path to energy indepedence that doesn't rely on a "silver bullet" technical solution.

We're a company with one main vision:

Providing average people with economically attainable energy freedom

This vision manifests itself in several ways:

• Providing information and solutions to assist with maintaining quality of life in the face of a failure of the public utility infrastructure (emergency utilities)
• Research into applications of promising new technology for non-emergency supplementation of public utilities
• Power management and distribution solutions tailored for the individual consumer
